head towards the light

Deeply in love with me.
I am sorry for being nasty to you.
But i said from the start.
That this would never work.
You didn’t want to agree with me.
So we a made a deal.
You would forgive all of my nastiness.
All of my cheating and lies.
You closed your heart to the bad things
I said to you and did to you.
I never did love you
I let you fall in love with me
so i could treat you like shit.
So you could see what its like.
When your heart is cold and broken.
I never felt so good,
I never felt so great.
And it was all thanks to you
Letting me play with your feelings.
But now our time has been used up.
Its time to go our separate ways.
Don’t look back
Just keep walking forward
Towards the light and the true love
You want and deserve.
We're through. Its over.
I’m not ready for you and me
To be together forever |
