» Poem: just sitting here |
just sitting here
written by devilchild0108:38 AM 11/20/04Sit alone under a tree.
In the rain, just thinking
Just feeling this pain
Hearing only the falls
Of a thousand rain drops
Feeling the cold of hate
Stray drops fall over my face
They feel so clean
Untouched unsoiled
That was how i was
Till you came that night
You took my childhood away
It has gone forever
I tried so hard to find it
I look in the corners
It is to late with
No innocence left
What do i have?
I pull out my knife
Run my fingers over the blade
I wash it under the rain
I slide the blade over one wrist
Red pours out so fast so quickly
This is what it takes
Dripping fast on to the soiled grass
I wash the blade under the rain
It’s so cold against my fingers
I slide it over the other waist.
This is it. Maybe i can claim my innocence back
Maybe i will get some peace at last. |
