» Poem: Singing to myself
Singing to myself
written by Trapezium

I'm singing to myself,
Trying to keep my tears at bay,
Pretending I don't care,
I'll postpone it to another day.

I need to talk,
But not right now,
I will do it I'm sure,
I just don't know how.

I'm thinking thoughts of dread,
Everything bad flies around like an aeroplane,
It runs through my head like a track on repeat,
I can't take this anymore; this pain.

I'm still alive,
Singing aloud it's all I've got,
I've got no one to sing to,
Too many to sing about, I should be shot.

Why do I have to cry,
About things that were in the past,
Memories still here,
After long last.
