» Poem: Surreal
Surreal
written by Foiazzy

I'm sitting here
Blood dripping down my arm
And I wonder
What would it be like
If things were different
If I wasn't messed up
If I was able to love
But I can't imagine
A life without cutting
A life where I was happy
I'm too used to this cycle
There's no way I could change
I wouldn't know where to start
And as much as I hate it
I love it at the same time
This dream world I've created
I'm so far in it
That reality isn't real anymore
It's like I'm not alive
But yet I am
And I don't know what to do
But keep going the wrong way
