» Poem: Dragon Slayer
Dragon Slayer
written by DarkAngelBlood

The dragon I shall slay, when the time of night is not day. I shall venture down, deep into an uncharted world. There will be fires burning and the dragon's mouth yearning for a piece of me. He wants to eat me whole and swallow me down with out considering chewing. Fine then, I will let him. But oh, the dragon is too foolish to understand my simple plan. When he swallows me, I will unlatch my sword from a holster like a gun and slit his throat from the inside; so my dragon is no longer able to breathe. The dragon does not have blood, so he withers and dies away. All you've got left is the scaly skin. You don't have to forgive me because this is not a sin, but a daily deed. So I leave the dargons'lair with my duty complete; now I shall move on.
