Death
written by bleedblack04:32 AM 11/21/04Suicidal thoughts
rush through my head
can't stop the pain
still lying in my bed
i look beside me
and see the silver blade
thinking more and more
as my common sense fades
the more i look
i can't seem to tear away
"just one little cut"
is what i begin to say
one turns to two
and two to three
numbers continue to grow
till they cover me
blood is still dripping
from every little inch
but i keep on going
with not a single flinch
i look around me
seeing blood stained sheets
my knife lying beside me
dripping with defeat
this battle has been won
i was taken by the knife
the night you came to see me
is the night i took my life
if you had been here sooner
i might have been spared
the thought of you was too strong
so with death i was paired
if you had given me a chance
and not taken me for a fool
maybe i would still be here
and not drowning in this pool |
