frozen soul

Try and see what I can see
Eyes that reflect nothing
no happiness no joy
They are frozen over
a layer of hate aimed at us all.
Your cheek is too cold
You could be dead
If I got close enough
Could I break away
A piece of that ice
Chip if off with my love
Your soul has frozen
Over the lonely years
But I am here
can I not warm it |
