» Poem: Far From Perfect
Far From Perfect
written by darktinkerbell

In your eyes,
I'm beautiful
I honestly don't see it,
you love my smile
I don't know why, I hate it
you love my eyes,
and that's the only thing
that I actually like about myself
you say I'm perfect
I'm far from that,
if you only knew
I'm so imperfect,
perfection laughs
at the thought of anyone
considering me perfect,
I don't know how you can look at me
and still see perfection,
from a girl that is still trying
to figure out who she really is,
I don't know why you see me the way you do
calling the biggest imperfection
~*perfect*~
I don't under stand how you don't see
that you're way too good for me,
I still can't believe, I'm with someone
as perfect as you,
because I'm far from perfect,
and when you realize that,
you will leave me
lost and alone,
all because of the many
things I lack,
just to even be considered
~*perfect*~
