NOT So sweet sixteen
written by Sugar_N_Spikes09:06 AM 11/22/04NOT So Sweet Sixteen.
Not so sweet sixteen
It’s a sad little story of a sad little girl
who unknown to the world is crying.
All alone, she is hiding, with her head in her hands
Lost, in the dark music of her favourite bands.
Her arms are burnt with bleeding scars,
she's trying to love herself but old habits die-hard.
She sees the size of her thighs and thinks she’s fat
looks into the mirror, But there’s a skeleton staring back.
Curled in the corner, with icy tears
thinking the walls can hear her fears.
All alone, with all this anger inside
She’s sixteen, But it’s not the time of her life.
Pain and hurt are all that she knows
She wants to break
the cycle of generations.
Thoughts that are dark racing through her head,
She thinks the world would be better
if she was dead.
Imagine she is your sister, your daughter, you.
No one comes, no one gives a dam, there’s no one who shows her care.
Would you cry and wonder why
If one day she wasn’t there? |
