cold inside

and get in return
i gave you my heart
everything
but what you gave back
was not what i deserved
it was cold
painful
you broke me inside
i tell myself
i dont want to be like them
im not cold inside
and demented in my mind
but you turn me away
when i offer you everything
spit in my face
when im nice to you
time and time again
i ask myself why?
what is the point in this
if all i get is your hate
my guilt
eats me up inside
and im turning cold inside
just like all of them...
