Inside->Out

a lost cause
a seed of evil
this 'just' war
to the death
a battle between
Emotion and Thought
why must i choose?
A battle within me
Inside ---> Out
my thoughts to the page
Inside ---> Out
my emotion to a kiss
uncertainty stinging clear
once again
time is given to cleanse
a soul with bullet holes
scars so deep
everyone clings to it
come...
come weep for the helpless one
your tears mean nothing
they to burn through
once more clean
the flaws they have subsided
the door is open for all to see
show forth trust
and you shall gain entry
but please
dust off your worries
very few will notice me
one i know for sure
the darkness grows near
come and i shall protect you
give nothing
still receive
my lost soul
my lost cause
my seed |
