i swear to god
i swore to you
never again to take that bottle again
snuff it, another drink
this isn't about that
this is worse
something i should have said before
something i should have made clear
so you would of a least realize this lie
this lie i've shown forth
i know it can't possibly make you feel better
but you're not the only one under my spell
this lie people believe
and before today, i'll be honest
never crossed my mind, the one i love
is part of this crowd of the deceived
so i'm breakin down the barrier
i need to let you in
i need you to know
that it stops here
the truth is coming out |
