» Poem: Cleanse
Cleanse
written by IceBound

still with me babe?
Surprising you've lasted this long
without getting up and walking me outside,
"I have to talk to you"
well i have to say something too
it's something that just won't leave me alone
i'll try my hardest to look you in the eyes
not break, better not punk out
this may be the only chance i get for this
look up, look at me right now
i'm either portraying my image, still
or sitting alone, locked in thought
nevertheless, you know me all to well
yes, you know me...
i hate to say it
but how much do you really?
i'm just another lost teen
rejected by society
acceptance above all
but the truth is out, it's caught me
now, more than anytime before
it's time to cleanse
