» Poem: Full Moon
Full Moon
written by IceBound
04:01 PM 11/23/04
is it a full moon yet?
is today filled with uncertainty?
might as well be
i feel like my head's about to explode
like my heart
about to rip right through my chest
ears buzzing
static as i drag me feet on the floor
eyes blinded at the light of day
i feel like i'm about to pass out
i just can't wait till i'm outside
the cold, it calls to me
waiting for the moment
it comsumes me
Ice Bound
bound to it
like this bond between us
it'll never break
never faulter
at least on your part
i know how fragile
this ice casing around your heart is
i know...
becuse i'm the one who carved it
every lie, trying to pierce the sides
think they'll soon find the weak point
without knowing, it was me
every lie shot out of me
straight to your heart
like a bullet to titanium
it'll eventually get through...
so is it a full moon yet?
will today be filled with uncertainty?
might as well be...
