Ignore the Pessmists

to tell a story that's never been told,
and basically let your life unfold.
But the mold can't even bend,
and there's no story that hasn't been penned,
and you can't unfold when you're turned away from the wind.
If you took a second to look around,
you're not much different from the rest of the town,
looking for something that's never been found.
That's the words that will come toward you
when you're trying to what so few will do,
but if you ignore them, you can succeed too.
There's a way to break the mold, you just have to find it,
and there's a way to tell a new story, you just have to write it,
and you can unfold even if you're turned away from the wind.
All you need is some time to spend.
All you have to do is feel it. |
