Forgiveness

I can give in one month,
I feel like I'm down to my last
I feel like I'm being run dry and
taken advantage of
my heart is swelled up
with cuts and bruises
and the pain can't immmediately fade
it will fade with time...I hope
I'm holding on to us because
I know we can work through this,
I know there are more lies
the ones you couldn't think of
at that point in time,
I need to know everything
before we take the next step
forgiving you is gonna take time
....gaining trust in you again
is gonna take some time,
but as long as we're both willing
to be there for those times
forgiveness will be there soon enough
and our relationship will be strong
remember.....if we make it through
this year.....we'll make it through anything
forgiveness isn't gonna come easy,
but at least we're going through it together |
