Because I don't want to either

It's hurt enough.
It can't give any faster than it could take.
You say it doesn't mean anything, yet it means so much.
My heart was alive, you tried to put it in the furnace.
It's about to explode from my chest out onto the surface.
You're making me burn here,
I never wanted to learn fear.
The words from your mouth recieved my ear.
Now all I gotta say is keep clear.
If you get in my way, I swear I'll knock your head off.
You said you wanted to think, but younever talked.
I asked you all these questions that began with why.
I know you never knew how many times this week I've cried.
I wanted to tell you, I so tried.
But you can't describe a heartache.
I'm sick of living your mistake.
Let me try and hide my joy from you.
(I don't wanna lie to myself.)
If I'm happy for once it's true.
Keep walking around with that smile, when I know it's fake.
You die inside your mind everytime you lie awake.
You know you lie to yourself too,
When you're thinking everything is fine.
You know it's not,
You know it's not.
I'm gonna try and forget you.
And I'll try not to regret what we did.
And I'll remember when I asked you why you ignore and don't talk to me you said,
"Because I don't want to."
(You had a bitchy voice then.) |
