Can You?

Can you hear me?
Can you see...
The hurt inside?
You don't know me,
Do you?
You think you are right,
Are you?
I don't understand,
And you're pushing too hard...
Can you back away?
Let me live my life?
I could say I'm sorry,
But I know that I'm not...
I can't be forgiven,
For things I didn't do wrong.
Can you understand,
That I am not you?
I may be all wrong...
But I never was you...
I've always been wrong,
And you've been the right,
Can you change the scenario?
I can't; I've tried...
Can you let go?
Can you say good-bye?
Can you accept me?
Can you love me?
I ask you...
Can you love me?
For the things I am...
Can you still love me? |
