One Last Try
written by Psycho_Penguin08:49 PM 11/26/04Things weren't supposed,
To ever get this bad...
Somehow they have.
I have lost all control...
You said you didn't want to hear,
Didn't accept the truth...
But you condemn my lies...
And you hate when I say nothing...
What am I supposed to say?
Why do you want me to talk?
With your wild imagination,
You've make-believed...
That I'm a self-serving martyr...
Just another,
Wishing to be victimized...
But I don't want this...
I never said that I did...
But you won't accept the truth...
If I say it once more,
Will you finally believe it?
What am I supposed to do?
Am I supposed to lock it all away...
You say I'm supposed to trust you,
But you fuck me over every chance you get,
You yell and you scream,
Tell me over and over,
That I am wrong...
For what?
So I can trust you?
Too much tension,
Too many lies...
And its all my fault,
According to you.
Would you believe it,
If I said this all...
One last time?
This poem,
Is my outcry,
My one last time,
Saying it...
My one last try...
Will you believe it? |
