Suicidal Friend
written by deadrebel5306:24 AM 11/27/04How could I have been so blind
As to not realize that something was wrong?
I should've known how you really felt.
How you were so alone and
How you didn't want to go on.
If only you could know how many people
Are here for you.
There must be 50 people
Standing in this hospital
All wanting to see you.
How could you not have known
That I'm here for you no matter what.
No matter what time or what day.
It doesn't matter. I'm always here to talk to.
You would talk to me about everything
But you never told me how you really felt.
How could you not have told me
How you were hurting yourself
And had toughts of suicide?
I've been here for you
For as long as I've known you,
Even when no one else was.
I've been there for the good and bad
And you know it.
But now here I sit.
By your bedside in a hospital.
You lay lifeless and still.
Your beautiful body is covered in stitches.
When I see your wrists and neck with stitches,
All I can wonder is "Why?"
But in the whole week you've been here,
I haven't left your side once. |
