Wishing you were near
I’ll miss you when you go home
To leave me in this life all alone
A friendship so sublime
Yet all that’s left for us is time
A chilling sense of touch
Knowing I’ll miss you so much
Trying to hold no regret
Yet concerned I might forget
Sorry I wasn’t there
Just hope you know I care
Till the day we meet again
Not one smile until then
Holding memories in my heart
Even after you depart
although some things have to end
You’ll always be, my friend. |
