» Poem: Perfect or Poser?
Perfect or Poser?
written by devils angel 13

I saw the perfect guy today,
Walking down the hall.
I’d seen him everyday last year,
But the new starts, it’s fall.

He might notice me this year,
Maybe we’ll be more than friends,
You are finally right here.
I smile and look him in the eyes.

He looks at me back and smiles.
Then we stop to chat,
I am happy, happy as can be,
And then he gives me a polite arm pat.

Then he asks me out.
When I meet him later that night,
It turned out great and you walk me home,
Well he even might….

He even might,
And he does,
He gives me a goodnight…
A goodnight kiss.

I see him all of the next days,
And he says,
That he loves me,
The whole world is in my hands

But wait, that wasn’t real.
In real life, you walked
By me and hardly
Even noticed me at all…
