Truths
written by devils angel 1302:43 PM 11/27/04I yawned and stared at my ceiling. The sun was seeping through my curtains and it made me smile. I was happy and excited for no reason at all. I hopped out of bed and got changed. Then I skipped down the stairs and guzzled down breakfast. I ran out the door, but I didn’t see the school bus yet. Good, I thought, I can go and chat with Peter.
I ran up his front-porch and started bringing my finger to ring the doorbell. With my finger halfway to the doorbell it hit me, and I jolted my hand back down to my side. Peter and I weren’t friends; we had a big fight when the people kidnapped us yesterday. It all came flooding back to me, and I didn’t believe that I had been happy this morning. I turned around slowly and scuffled down Peter’s front-porch.
Then I turned my head to take one last glance at Peter’s house, and I saw Peter staring at me. He had been watching me the whole time. |
