» Poem: I just forgot you were there
I just forgot you were there
written by DarkAngelBlood

When we used to walk home
You were on the other side of her
I was all alone
You don't even remember
Occasionally we would all joke around
But when it came time for me to say something funny, you pretended not to care
It's okay, after a while it stopped getting me down
I just forgot you were there

I saw you everyday after class
You gotta be kidding me now if you think I miss the past
Don't bring it all back
Just let it go
Pretend like it never happened
No one needs to know
You're still upset about yesterday's afair
But I still just forgot you were there

There's something in my mind
There's something in my head
All of the signs I can't miss
It's like you don't even exist

So many things to remind me
But I forget so easily
So now you're alone
But I'm making it on my own
I'm not looking back on what used to be cause I moved on
Since you left me and you were long gone
Now so you don't have to see me, you cover your face with your hair
But I already forgot you were there

I just forgot you were there
