crimson snow

cover up the pain inside
cover up the dead lives
cover up all the lies
with this red rose
i hold so close to me
i keep my blood warm
keep my blood sweet
this crimson tear
you cried for me
i hold
in my heart
in my grasp
i will never let go
you fell
for me
you fell to the ground
and became
dead
like all of them
and i see you laying
on the pure white snow
watching your life
seep into the earth
watching you slip away from me
watching this white cloth
become stained with sin
stained in crimson
today
crimson snow will fall from the sky
for you |
