» Poem: opposites
opposites
written by DontFearAConcequence

When working with opposites it isn’t too complicated
The opposite of bright and bold would be something faded
The opposite of short is tall
On of the easiest of them all
The opposite of something new
Would be gum under your desk, already chewed
The opposite of shallow
Would be something deep, deep below
The opposite of my dad
Is something I have never had
The truth, patience, and responsibility
Someone who really cares for me
What’s the opposite of me?
Nothing anyone expects it to be
My own person, an individual
I’ll forget about everyone and follow my soul
Opposites
On two different poles, nothing alike
This would be like me and Mike
