Pained
written by Trapezium07:28 PM 11/28/04Shattered glass lay on the dark pavement,
Red crystals reflect the moon's light,
I lay lifeless on a bed of roses,
And I breathe my least air tonight.
Trees stand unmoving in the deathly still wind,
And whispy grey clouds paint a picture in the sky,
A blackened tear trickles slowly down my face,
Maybe it's best if I were to die.
A heart shaped leaf falls on my blurry eyes,
And I'll fly away on the wings of a butterfly,
Tonight I'll be sleeping with the Angels,
Until then, my death bed is where I lie. |
