Beauty Makes My Heart Cringe

flowing from your open
veins, and a smile comes
across your face
this beauty blinds me
it hates me
and makes my heart cringe.
I hate the beautiful blood
that runs free from your veins
and sets you free,
I hate this crimson rose
I lay upon your casket
and I hate you
for finding a way out
before I even have the chance.
now I'm back to my beautiful life
with bloody tears
and silent screams and cries
all the beauty in my life
in the place of pain
forms new pain,
but pain doesn't hurt,
when it's all you know,
all you see,
all you feel.
Beauty makes me remember
why I cry inside
and what I'll never be...
I'll never be beautiful,
beauty hates me,
I hate it the same
it makes me cringe,
it makes me love to hate
and hate to love.
everything beautiful I've ever had
has been taken away from me,
and stabbed me in the heart.
beauty caused my heart
to bleed away my heart's desire
and welcome the cold touch
of the pain's envy
beauty is only skin deep,
but it never dies,
I hate beauty,
just as much as I want to be beautiful,
but, Beauty makes my heart cringe,
let me bleed the away,
the last thoughts, hopes, and
dreams, of ever being beautiful,
and let the darkness take over me |
