please don’t cry

please don’t cry anymore
This is all I have wanted
My body now cold and lifeless,
Remember what we had together
Remember the special times we shared,
remember our summer's picnics.
Remember our winter walks
Remember our first kiss
Remember how velvety your lips felt
As they softly pushed against mine
Remember where we were. In our hiding place
Remember our first hug
Remember how you held me. When I cried
Remember how you kept me safe when I was down
Remember how I will always love you
Remember our first time
Remember how you were so shy
Remember how you gently felt my body
Remember how you always loved me
Remember how you could finish my sentences;
remember how you would change two words into a million.
Remember that you are my star
You always shined brighter for me then the rest.
Smile when you find this poem
By the time you read this I would have passed away,
celebrate the life I lived so solemnly,
forget I'm dead but don’t forget me
my eyes fill with tears
I wont awake from my eternal sleep |
