Theres No Such Thing...As A Happy Ending

My mommy used to tell me...
That there was a rainbow...
At the end of ever storm...
And that at the end of the rainbow...
Was a pot of gold...
That was untill my mommy died...
But I waited out a thunderstorm...
And I saw a rainbow...
I hoped all the stories were true...
I followed the rainbow...
But there was no pot of gold...
There was only...me.
Sad and alone...
Without my mommy....
I haven't belived any nice little fairy tale since... |
