» Poem: Senses Contrast(of a cutter and another)
Senses Contrast(of a cutter and another)
written by LaDyJ on3

I cry like you do
I bleed like you do
I breathe and feel and taste just like you do
We all have the same senses
But its still not the same
You bleed from things like scrapes at the park
I bleed from razors used for my own form of glee
Your cries are of joy
My cries are of abiding agony
You breathe the good space in your fixed home and life
I breathe the toxic air from this broken home in strife
You taste the love and comfort
I taste the mouthful flavor of pain and hurt
You feel the stroke of hugs and warm emotions
And this sorrow has numbed me so greatly that-
All I feel is the stroke of the razor and the warmth of my blood
Informing the proof that…I’m still living
How unfortunate…
