Resign from Life

Look at them in disgust and fear
This is my remedy, they don’t get it
This is my security
I rake away the numbness-
For that brisk moment.
They have their genuine smiles-
They don’t need security.
I’m broken and I can’t be fixed
I don’t want to live to die
If this is my mission-
I wish to resign |
