» Poem: The Trap
The Trap
written by twistedmind33

I look at you and smile
I see you don’t feel the same
How you ask?
I can see it in your eyes
Rejection, hurt
Nothing but lies
I’m sorry for what I have done to you
It’s not my fault I loved you
I thought you felt the same
You lied
You said you loved me
Nothing would ever change that
I can’t believed I bought it
Like a cheap shit on the wal-mart sale rack
But how could I resist?
Your charm was like a magical spell
With all intents to hurt me
You had me right where you wanted me
All’s I had to do was fall
