Feign
written by chaoticthoughts05:10 AM 11/30/04The candles are lit, wax dripping from the fire
The bed is made with luxuriant satin sheets
The shades are closed, tightly for no light
Strawberry's and whip cream sit beside on the night table
Sexy, slow music plays
Beautiful lighting, in the mood music, plus kinky
But the girl sits alone in the corner
Smoking cigarette after cigarette, wondering where she went wrong
Why is she alone?
Why didn't prince charming show?
The heartache is too much
She made a decision, tonight she will take her life
As she mixes a drink with some poison, tears fall from her face
Sighing hoping she will go up in beauty and grace
She sits on the bed she imbibes the whole glass
Lays down and falls asleep
30 minutes later her boyfriend walks in
Explains that traffic was bad and apologizes
Walks over to the bed trying to cuddle, he finds her body cold
Cold as a corpse |
