Little Bird Singing

is my delicate
Hope
a little bird singing:
"Some day..."
But do not listen with the heart!
For, if I do,
his tune will change
to "Some day soon!"
and little birds don't know the truth,
only trying to make me happy.
When his predictions
Fall
so, too, will my
Heart
Love becomes a broken stone,
Heavy on the Soul,
and weakening
Hope
The little bird sings:
"Some day..." |
