Forest of illusions
written by Trapezium06:05 PM 11/30/04Murky grass has been trodden where I walk,
Trees are losing their leaves and all colour,
I walk into the forest of deep memories,
Black and white suddenly seems much duller,
As my cold mistakes play on slow motion,
Everything lay hard and unmoving,
The eerie depths of cold silence show,
The blood red pain here seems almost soothing,
Shattered glass lay still in the air,
And the soundtrack to my life is playing,
Little things start to move slowly along,
And soon the trees are swaying,
They're moving in on me and catching me,
They're imprisoning me so I can't get out,
Vines have constricted around my neck,
I just have to die 'cause I can't even shout,
This depressive chamber is looming in,
I just sit here alone and I'm slowly dying,
Blood red wrists flash before my eyes,
And my last minutes of life are spent crying. |
