» Poem: Out of the Dust
Out of the Dust
written by iloveakke

The times are hard today
A storm’s around the corner
The birds flitter away
The dark sky is a foreigner

Then… a neigh from behind the clouds
Of the dust that shadows the land
The Earth will pause to admire the sound
A horse prances on the sand

Her eyes are soft and sweet
Pride, stamina, lust…
Soon everyone longs to meet
The horse from out of the dust…
