Take My Hand

We have the world to show what we can do.
Summer brings us plenty of time.
I'm reaching out, reaching for you.
Take my hand.
She's trying all the time to make him understand,
Giving subtle hints, wanting to hold his hand.
Too close would mean disaster,
Too far would mean defeat,
But it feels like she's the only one who's trying...
Look to the skies with a new heart.
Try out your wings among the clouds.
Join in the wind's song, the sun's art.
Find your true calling in their crowds.
Take my hand.
She's trying all the time to make him understand,
Nothing ever seems to go how she had it planned.
Too close would mean disaster,
Too far would mean defeat,
But it seems like she's the only one who's moving...
Every experience in life has a reason,
At least, that's what I always believe.
My love must have its own explanation.
Don't throw away the chance and leave.
Take my hand.
