The Dark Gift

The dark deep red above her eyes
through the gap she can see the sky,
a dart of black, a glint of teeth
She knows what it is,but can't belive,
the touch on her face, the immortal breath
She knows now this night, may be her last,
She's waited all her life for this momment to come,
to beg the beast to make her one,
to hide in the day and to prowl at night,
She wants it all, dispite
The Dark Gift she craves, again and again
She can feel the teeth sliding down
The ever-green eyes, locked on her own.

He hears her thoughts and knows her need,
He is Lonely for one of his breed,
He knows there are some who would not agree,
the life of a night-walker is not esay
mortal's they dream of it,but don't understand
just what this immortal role demands,
to kill for blood,to harm,to destroy
locking his eyes on her's so young
He knows the change she craves
has begun
the things she feels are so true,
so He does what he has to do.
taking from her, and giving her his,
He will give her the immortal kiss
when the night is over she will be
a Vampyre bride, this story is done,
Her life of night has just begun.
