» Poem: her |
her
written by all_yours09:36 PM 12/3/04she sat there with that (i dont understand) look that small lonly face
knees to her chest
the curb beneath her
eyes open staring at her shoes
hair pushed behind her ears as always
the smallest tear resting on her eye lid
i just stood there
looking down at that beautiful broken girl
holding my breathe not knowing what to do
her hands pulling her legs close
no nails effect of bad habit
her jeans torn at the heels
and that grey tank made my heart melt
the air still and at a pure warmth
i was so aware i felt the gravel beneath my shoes
a car or two passed and i finnally got the courage to sit beside that precious girl
i wrapped my arm around her
to my surprise she laid her head gently
on my shoulder
i could hear her breathing
and for once i knew i could help |
