» Poem: Nothing
Nothing
written by twistedmind33

You say be yourself
But how
When I don’t even know who me is
Ideas of who I want to be and who I think I am rush to my brain
I can’t decide which is which
Where do I draw my line of reality and fantasy?
Can I really be this person?
Personalities are not like clothes
You can’t switch with the trends
Am I trying to accomplish the impossible?
My goal can’t be reached
So I’m stuck here
As nothing
I am no one
I have no personality
No one can call me a poseur
Prep
Fake
Goth
Freak
Nothing
Things are so much simpler this way
I may not know myself, but I know I am nothing
Nothing with no soul and no decisions to make
You may not approve
But I don’t care
Because I am nothing
Nothing to me
And nothing to anyone who cares
