My Few Outlets
written by chaoticthoughts02:50 AM 12/4/04Wandering alone on this dusty old road
Wondering if I'll ever get home
Aimless for my whole life
When things seem harsh I grabbed my knife
A tear falls with every step I take
Sometimes to get through I act fake
Cutting would dull the grief
My scars will form soon you'll see
Pills would numb my essence
But still I could feel the other's presence
Weed would alter my wits
All those loose pieces suddenly fit
Alcohol would put down my divider
I alone am my own provider
Cocaine & crack would bring me succor
Constantly I would be pacing the floor
Writing would help me vent
I always enjoy it, I cherish all the time spent |
