» Poem: Waste it away
Waste it away
written by DarkAngelBlood

A part of my life is gone,
It's because of you.
I won't let what you did go, cause it was wrong.
How can you live at all?
Don't you hear your name when I call?
I'm standing in the middle of street,
Waiting for a car to hit me.
You won't drag me across again,
Cause it's already the end.
You hand around my arm,
Making me look like a tag-along.
Don't pull, just let me stay.
I don't wanna live another day,
If you're just gonna waste it away.
You can't make me stay if you're gonna use me,
You can't make me stay if you're gonna abuse me.
All I wanted to do was be right next to you,
All I wanted to do was help you through.
But guess again when you fall,
It won't be my fault.
It's nice of you, to kill everything good thing I had,
It's nice of you, to walk away and turn you back.
I wonder if you feel any shame,
I wonder if you're gonna get killed by your own game.
In the wild there's nothing tame.
And the definition of life is the same.
I don't wanna live another day,
If you're just gonna waste it away.
