Just shut the fuck up

are four words that make me sick
emo, prep, skank, nerd,
you use ignorance for your voice to be heard
label, label, label, label.
you need something else to do
you need to crawl out of your cradle
and walk in big kid shoes
Hurry little kids and put up your razor blades
Gothic is a building design
and punk comes in ONE shade
Good Charlotte and Simple Plan
are bubble gum rock
And Amy Lee isn't "Gothic",
she's angsty pop,
And all of you listen
closely to me
in a year or two,
what will this all mean?
It won't mean shit
and if you'd just admit it,
you might not look like such an idiot
"Oh, I'm so emo,"
"I'm so punk,"
I'm so gothic,"
just shut the fuck up!
You are you
get over it
'cuz you can't ever change that!
Whether you're nothing or "all that"
wearing pink or black
skating or reading
or mopping blood off the sink
nothing will change the fact that you're you
so quit fucking complaining
it's something you gotta get used to. |

I am so fucking disgusted with my generation. If I hear one more teen say they are emo, I am going to fucking rip my hair out. Emo is basically sad ass rock music. But I guess you couldn't call your followers sad asses.

I can't say much about the goths because I get labeled that. But at least I have sense enough to know I'm not.
