» Poem: My Escape
My Escape
written by Broken Phoenix

When I write it's my escape
It's what I do to forget my mistake
I write in till my hands are sore
Due to the fact I can't take anymore
Of this life that I live
I was to confused when I was a kid
They never realized what they did
To me
causing my blindness so I couldn't see
What was happening to me
Then I learned how to write
And I started to stay up every night
Trying to find out what went wrong
Trying to figuer out what was going on
I searched evey book on the shelf
I even searched within myself
To find the answer a reason to stay
A reason why my childhood had faded away
But theres was nothing I could find
But pictures and journals that were mine
I was too late and it was all gone
I'd been left to carry on
And I was alone in my room
That slowly became my toom
And I realized I needed to escape
From all of my mistakes
But I could not run
could not hide
could not kill myself
could not tell and be understud by anyone
So I began to write my heart out
And in the end I was able to escape my life
My problems
My secerts
My friends
My family
Myself
And find some kinda of peace
A clam that was.....
My escape
