Those Eyes

Living on the edge of reality
Stumbling into the magic of the abyss
Floating high above earth's gravity
What part of glory did I miss
Soon those eyes will be upon me
And I'm frightened inside my dreams
All the doors will lock behind me
And my most forgotten path screams
Descending into the shadows of my nightmares
Unearthing the phases to my demise
Sad knowing I've lost what once was there
All the people round me make belies
