Pain

I can see through your soul and into your heart.
Nothing comes out but a great black hole, and sucks your heart in with no mercy.
I come to think of you as a ghost, in a world with no meaning.
Try not to struggle against the thing that holds you still,
For I want to set you free from the turmoil that has its grasp upon your heart.
Your heart broken,
Yet more from your soul has awoken
A shadow covers the light that once blossomed
Through your body like a bright sunbeam on the sea
Keep your soul open
Come out from the underground and bask in the light,
For that will be the only light you will see for a while.
Keep your head high and your heart out-spoken.
Keep your feelings intact and try to see the world as one great place,
That you can run free and that has no bounds. |
