Opossing Forces

What's expected of me
Who I should be
What you didn't say is that I could chose
You said I could be my own person
But really you wanted me to be like you
And those before me
But guess what?
I'm not them
Not even close
You've influenced my every decision
And now I'm lost
I don't know where I am
But I do know I am free
I don't have to listen to you
I only have to listen to my inner voices
The ones that call to me
They know what really lies within me
And not just what you want me to do
So fuck off bitch, and leave me alone
I've found out the truth
And the truth lies within me |
