» Poem: my secret pain
my secret pain

I sat in the tower. Cold and alone.
A pen in my hand, Paper in the other.
Tears streaming down my death white face
Darkness and hate. Are all that fill my body now.
I sat and write down two simple words why me?
An answer to two simple words would have saved me.
My heart was cold my mind was dead
My body shivered against my thin clothes.
Never did I wish for anything else but that night to come.
I never stopped my crying after the first time it happened.
This river of tears was soon to be mixed with my blood.
My secret pain was much to cope with alone.
I thought about my death over and over.
I felt so alone, I felt so dirty every time he touched me
My heart was so empty. My life was so fucked up.
Inside my pocket I had a knife.
a knife to cut my pain away for good.
The tears came back and cause my river to flood.
I closed my eyes and cut two words into my arm. Why me?
Over and over, again and again. I cut the same words.
Blood ran red dark but beautiful.
Each drop was a little pain leaving my body
Each cut bought me to where I am now.
My eyes slowly closed. I felt no pain.
I saw nothing but light guiding me away from my shell.
Now here I stand in a puddle of my own tears and blood.
Here I see the people I loved who couldn’t help me then
Try to help but fail again.
I see them ask why? What made her do it?
They see the question but still they don’t know about my secret pain.
A puddle of crimson blood and crystal tears
Are all that’s left to show my secret pain.
