winter is...

And the smell of the Christmas ham
Watching the snowflakes in the air
And trying to catch them before they land
Going up north to pick out a tree
Then bringing it home to decorate
Visiting family that we don’t even remember
And staying up by the fire ‘till late
Winter is a time for family to bond
And time to show your love for one another
To give gifts to those that you cherish and care for
Winter is a time unlike any other |
